Biography
Fredrick I. Miller, who joined Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C. in 1986, is a Partner/Director and head of the firm's Health Care Practice Group. He specializes in the representation of hospital and other health care providers, with emphasis on managed care, regulatory, third-party reimbursement and hospital/physician matters.
Admitted to practice law in New York and California, Mr. Miller is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Committee on Health Law) and the State Bar of California. He has also served as Counsel to the New York State Health Planning Commission.
Mr. Miller received his B.B.A. in 1971 from Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University and his J.D. in 1976 from the University of California at Davis, where he was a Member of the Board of Editors of the Law Review. Mr. Miller also received a Master of Public Health in Hospital Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1973. |
