Biography
Jacqueline Finnegan joined Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C. in 2006. As a member of the firm’s Health Care Law Group, she advises clients on a wide range of regulatory, compliance and corporate matters.

Ms. Finnegan's practice primarily focuses on health care fraud and abuse matters, HIPAA-privacy matters, clinical research reimbursement matters, and corporate compliance. Her practice includes the representation of hospitals, hospital alliances, academic medical centers, physician groups, insurers, hospice facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and durable medical equipment suppliers. She has particular expertise in developing corporate compliance programs for a wide variety of health care providers, representing providers in investigations by the HHS Office of Inspector General and advising them on regulatory and fraud and abuse matters.

Prior to joining Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C., Ms. Finnegan was an associate at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal LLP., in their national health care group. She also practiced as a registered nurse before becoming an attorney, and has experience working in the neonatal intensive care unit, labor and delivery unit, and cardiac catheterization lab.

Ms. Finnegan received her B.S.N from Old Dominion University and her J.D. from George Washington University School of Law, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the George Washington University Law Review.
