Biography
Jeffry Adest is a partner at Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C. He joined the firm in 1999 and is a member of the firm’s Health Care, Business and HIPAA Compliance practice groups, advising clients on a wide range of business, regulatory and transactional matters.
Mr. Adest has represented numerous hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, federally qualified health centers and other health care clients in a variety of corporate and regulatory transactions in both New York and New Jersey.
With particular expertise in HIPAA compliance, federally qualified health centers and health plans, Mr. Adest has recently assisted a number of entities in the establishment of federally qualified health centers.
Mr. Adest is a frequent lecturer on physician practice issues and HIPAA Compliance.
Mr. Adest was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1996 and the New York Bar in 1997. He is a member of the New York Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
Mr. Adest received his B.S. from Yeshiva University in 1992 and his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1995.
