Biography
Robert E. Schiller is a Senior Attorney at Garfunkel, Wild & Travis, P.C., which he joined in 2007. He is a member of the firm’s Health Care Law Group, which advises hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers on a host of business, regulatory and transactional matters.
Mr. Schiller’s practice includes regulatory counseling and provider representation in managed care contract negotiations with payors.
Mr. Schiller brings a unique perspective to his representation of providers, due to his past experience as in-house regulatory counsel with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield (1999-2007), and with the Albany law firm of Hinman Straub (1993-1999), where he represented a number of payors on transactional, regulatory, and legislative matters.
He is a member of the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Schiller received his BA from the College of the Holy Cross in 1988 and his JD from Albany Law School of Union University in 1992, where he was a Member and Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review. |
